


Manuscript Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through ijacop@ksu.edu.ng. This will permit the editorial team to keep the submission and review process as efficient as possible. IJACOP uses an anonymous review process; therefore, writers must exclude authors’ names, institutions, and clues to the authors’ identities that exist within the manuscript. In line with this, authors are to submit two manuscripts:

Manuscript Criteria
The fitness of a manuscript for publication in IJACOP is carefully reviewed based on the format listed below:
Submission Format
The acceptable format for electronic submission is MS Word, Times New Roman 12 pt. All text, including titles, headings, references, quotations, figure captions, and tables, must be typed, double-spaced, with one-inch margins all around. Authors should number all text pages bottom centre.
Length
A manuscript, including all references, tables, and figures, should not exceed 8,000 words. Submissions that exceed or do not meet this range may not be accepted for review. Authors should keep tables and figures to a minimum. Figures/charts and tables created in MS Word should be included in the main text rather than at the end of the document.
Referencing Style
IJACOP uses the APA 7th edition reference style. Authors must follow strictly the guidelines in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA),7th edition.
Abstract and keywords
All manuscripts must include an abstract and keywords of not more than five. Abstracts describing the essence of the manuscript must be 200 words or less.
ORCID
The collection of ORCID iDs from corresponding authors is part of the submission process of this journal. If you already have an ORCID iD you will be asked to associate that to your submission during the online submission process. We also strongly encourage all co-authors to link their ORCID ID to their accounts. Your ORCID iD will be part of your publication making your work attributable to you and only you. Your ORCID iD is published with your article so that fellow researchers reading your work can link to your ORCID profile and from there link to your other publications. If you do not already have an ORCID iD please create one or visit the ORCID homepage to learn how to create one.
Ethics
Author integrity is a core editorial value for the International Journal of Arts, Communication and Pedagogy that ensures respect for the publication process. IJACOP expects that authors conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner and respect the intellectual work of others as well as their own. Therefore, any article submitted to IJACOP must be original. All manuscripts received must undergo plagiarism test.
The aim of any scholarly article is to advance the knowledge of the discipline and not just to add numbers to the publication list of an author or mere fulfilling the requirement of promotion. IJACOP will take utmost care for rigorous peer review of all submitted manuscripts and only quality content will be accepted for publication. Authors should therefore prepare their manuscripts in compliance with the journal instructions so as to avoid any undue delay in its editorial processing and disappointment of rejection.

Submission of an article for publication to the International Journal of Arts, Communication and Pedagogy implies that the author has agreed to transfer the copyright to the journal upon acceptance. IJACOP therefore becomes the copyright owner of the accepted manuscript and it may not be reproduced by any means without the written permission of the editor-in-Chief.
Peer Review Process
International Journal of Arts, Communication and Pedagogy is committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the highest standards of review. Once a paper has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will be double anonymous peer reviewed by two independent, anonymous expert reviewers, each delivering at least one report.
Publication Frequency
IJACOP is published in November annually for now. There is a plan to make the publication biannually, in May and November.
Article Processing Fee
IJACOP charges article processing fee. Each article submitted should be accompanied by a processing fee of six thousand naira only (N6,000:00) which should be paid into the journal account domiciled with Zenith Bank Plc.

Publication Fee
Articles accepted for publication after passing through the rigours of peer review attract a publication fee of twenty-five thousand naira only (N25,000:00) to be paid into the journal account as indicated above.
